This was when the rapids were beginning to fully form. For those of you who don't know, Skookumchuk is out past Sechelt but before Egmont (I think thats the towns name) on the Sunshine Coast. Two opposite currents in this little bay collide and form rapids. Really amazing.
I'd recognize those rapids anywhere! It's alot of fun to watch the kayakers go through them when the tide is in complete shift XD makes me wish I could kayak. The walk there is very nice, too.
